TOBACCO BITS

Tobacco bits are the general term of discreet rolls of tobacco cut from a whole sting of tobacco. First the tobacco string is hand spun using whole leaves. Later on, a delicate casing is applied, then the string is put into storage and finally the string is cut into small tobacco bits.

The size of the tobacco bits is optimized for consuming, meaning they are small enough to have in the mouth without any discomfort. Tobacco bits are used by taking one piece in your mouth, chew a few times and then place it into your cheek and leave it there. Please remember that tobacco bits are for your enjoyment, so don’t swallow it, dispose it after use.

NASAL SNUFF

Snuff was used for the first time in 1561 at the French court where Jean Nicot (who also gave name to nicotine) cured the French queen for headache with tobacco powder. The powder he used was later called nasal snuff. That was the acceptance of tobacco in the nobility, and soon tobacco became worldwide recognized.

Nasal snuff is grinded tobacco into powder and added flavour and water. It is a relative dry powder and the consumption is done by placing a small portion of snuff on the hand and then sniff it in both nostrils.

CHEW / SNUS

Snus

Snus is manufactured by a process where the tobacco is crushed and milled into powder. The powder goes through a heat treatment, flavours are added and finally it is packed in pouches.

Consumption is done by placing a portion in the mouth and chewing it lightly a few times. Wait for the tingling feeling. Then insert the portion between lip and gums.

Chew bags

Chewing tobacco goes through a gentler process compared to snus in order to maintain the tobacco’s cut texture. First it is cut into strips and air-dried. Then it goes through a heat treatment, flavours are added and finally it is packed in pouches.
