BURLEY

It might be that you find Burley tobacco boring and unappealing but never underestimate the magic that Burley does for a blend

ORIENTAL

Whenever you detect a subtle, spicy note in your smoke, you can be confident you’re probably enjoying a bit of Oriental tobacco: the small leaf with a huge impact.

OUR MASTER BLENDER

MY CHILDHOOD

Since my childhood I have been surrounded by pipes, a passion that I have brought with me to this day.

THE LOVE FOR THE PIPES

Before I started working for Mac Baren, I dedicated my life to building pipes, following my father’s example.

THE ART OF BLENDING

THE RAW TOBACCO

Raw tobacco is in good hands in Mac Baren. Our owner is also our buyer of raw tobacco. So, he knows what he wants.

BLENDING IN MAC BAREN

Blending is the wisdom in taking different tobaccos with different properties, mixing them together so the result that comes out is a new blend.

THE BLENDING PROCESS

A new blend could be a recipe of 12.15.18 up to 20 different tobaccos, and it will take at least one year to be ready.
